| - My mom sent me a package through Amazon. The tracking says the package delivery was attempted at 10:21am. I was literally sitting on my couch, by my front door, at 10:21am. No delivery was attempted, no slip was pasted to my door. I called to complain and they said "The delivery person noted that you had a gate, so they couldn't enter."
I've NEVER had a problem with FedEx or UPS entering my complex before. If this was a problem, they could've used the gate box to look up my name or apt. number to call for admittance. However, no such attempt was made.
This is the most unacceptable behavior ever to be exhibited by a mail delivery company. If there was an option to give a negative star number, I'd give -275,000. That's how unacceptable this is. To make matters worse, they said they won't re-attempt delivery until Monday at the earliest. WHY DID MY MOM PAY FOR 2-DAY DELIVERY THEN?! FexEx most certainly delivers on the weekends, why do I have to suffer for someone else's mistake? For a service that was PAID FOR?! They said I could drive to pick the package up, but it is at a warehouse 20 miles away from my residence. I should spend 40 miles in gas and wear and tear for a service that was paid for?!
I am going to take this issue to the the Better Business Bureau and Amazon to ensure that the correct recourse is taken against this company.
