  • this one used to be the red star cafe, but now arabica has taken it into their hands, and that makes me happy. with their crazy concoctions of mochas like the cinnamochanilla (mocha with cinnamon, vanilla, and, well, chocolate) or the turtle mocha..or the banana monkey mocha...you can't go wrong. if you like frou frou coffee drinks, that is. it just so happens...i do. back in the day, arabica was renowned for their mocha mix. it was a big ol' secret. they used to make it daily. since franchising throughout the area, they've now bottled their chocolatey concoction to mix directly heated to your coffee cup. i can't help but taste a bit of a difference, but regardless, it's still damn good. when i'm not in cleveland, i miss it. this location is the type of atmosphere i love to be in. with couches in the front, tables all along the wall, and the happennings of the 117th area out and about...it just makes you feel like you could stay all day and hang out. and if i could, i would.
