Retail sales people should be treated with respect. However respect goes both ways and this store (and its manager) are lacking in human respect towards customers. I experienced the "geniuses" in there are condescending and dominating. Unfortunately they talk down to you like you are stupid and couldn't possibly have any technical knowledge. Their disdain is unmistakable.
Before even seeing a genius, I came in twice to have my computer look at and was turned away, when I tried to book an appointment online at the store for the next day the manager smugly told me, "See, all the bookable appointments are gone, you should have done this earlier!" On top of that the next time I came in I happened to come in dressed smartly.
Then the genius who was supposed to be helping me kept trying to flirt with me and purposefully touching my finger as he "explained" about my laptop. He made a big show of having me wait a long while he made a big show of talking to a every customer without an appointment who came in after me, because it was such a task to have a short conversation with me and hand me my computer back. In addition he smugly told me, "If you lose your data after us opening up your computer it's not our responsibility." I left feeling slimed. I came in to get some service for my computer and I was treated with such condescension, not to mention being treated like I was a plaything for this employee. Act professional please, flirt with women (who want to flirt with you and are not there talking to you because they have a computer problem) on your own time. I'm not even going to address the issue of "customer service" at this store. I'll avoid this one at all costs in the future.
