I came here for the first time to see Sister Act. Without commenting on the show itself, I really enjoyed the theatre. I love that it's right in the heart of downtown and near so many restaurants and other options for pre- and post- show. I love the traditional awning and entrance way, and the grand staircase inside. I really felt like I'm experiencing a part of historical Toronto.
There was a wide variety of price ranges when I bought tickets for the show. I'm kind of on a budget so purchased the second lowest seat time which were pretty high up in the balcony. I was impressed that I had a clear view of the stage from my seat.
I liked that you could buy food and drinks both upstairs and downstairs, as well as take the food and drinks into the show. I wish there was more of a food selection than cookies and ice cream, however.
I also liked how you could leave during the middle of the show to use the restroom and go back inside. I've been to theatres where they won't let you come back in until intermission! What a waste. The line ups for the bathroom weren't bad.
Can't wait to come back. A fairly affordable night out!
