  • This place saved the day. We came here for some outdoor adventuring and even after checking it out online before hand and talking to staff when we arrived we quickly got the run around about whether or not the kids could do thing like obstacle courses and rock climbing and none of the staff seemed to be on the same page. So I was stuck with three disappointed adventure-less kids... so I decided to stop into the Rivers Edge Bar and Grill to get them a treat while the rest of our party went on the zip line. They each ordered the strawberry balsamic ice cream and LOVED it. My two 2 year old (who I had originally planned to share with) took one bite and exclaimed, "oh my gosh it's sooo good!" Then she refused to share with me!! My 7 and 5 year old (who I consider to be the ice cream experts) said it was the best strawberry ice cream they ever had! And when I did finally get a bite, I was inclined to agree with them. The service was a bit slow during the lunch rush but they were pretty busy for a Saturday. But they had excellent chai cider and great outdoor seating for watching all the activities!
