  • So I have to say this is my very favourite place to eat. Their Italian sandwiches are the best in all of Toronto. The chicken and the eggplant are my fav's but I'm always tempted by the steak and the veal - all are amazingly fresh, hot and delicious. You can order the sandwiches anyway you like - no sauce, extra sauce - hot, sweet or mild. I think their sauce is the best. The staff are super efficient - usually very busy around dinner time but will always have your sandwich within half an hour. There is a choice of eating in or takeout. While waiting there are a couple of pinball machines to keep you entertained. No fancy ambiance simply good old fashioned homemade sandwiches. I especially like that there are no gimmicks or bad advertising to lure people in - the business has operated successfully on word of mouth. I've been eating these sandwiches for 40 years and the quality has remained consistently excellent. Parking is good. Location is central - Toronto's original Little Italy. Establishment is really clean.
