  • I caught an opening night play at the Tranzac and it was fun. It was fun and something different. I consider it a good investment for $15! What amazes me is that such a place exists and it is so close to Bloor Street and central, yet I had never heard of them until three of us stumbled in. These guys need a publicist! The facility is rundown and definitely has a Kensington Market vibe to it, but is just off Bloor West. The theatre also serves alcohol and could either be spotted by the ever-so-ugly graffiti all over the building or the entrance which looks like a dilapidated bar. Why can't a facility be a 'community' one and also have a clean façade and be shipshape? Try something different... the staff there are friendly and did not have an attitude...
