| - We arrived at 11:50 am on a Tuesday and snagged the last table. I thought we would have been there earlier, but had trouble finding a place to park. A very friendly waitress took our order almost immediately, but it took 30 minutes to get our food. During that time, we saw several people walk in and leave when they saw no tables were available. The noise level was very high in this place. i had difficulty understanding the person sitting across from me.
I had the Cuban sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese, $9.50. In my opinion, the quality of the roast pork makes or breaks the Cuban; in this case it was subpar. They forgot the grilled cheese, but I was hungry and wasn't about to send it back after waiting so long. The ham and bread were both quite good, and it would have been an excellent Club sandwich. But as a Cuban, it was a significant fail.
The mac and cheese was very good, made with a sharp white cheddar, but it was very dry. It could of benefited from more sauce. My friend had the Mediterranean salad, $8. She said the olives were a high quality.
