  • I say skip the big box stores and check out Southwest Hardwood's phenomenal selection. They have tons of modern options as well as traditional flooring. I thought they'd be more expensive but found the pricing to be very competitive. You get better quality for the same price or even less. I've actually purchased laminates from them twice now. Jim and Tom (the owners) were very helpful both times.
