| - Wing Nights (Wednesdays and Saturdays) here are still the best wing deal in the neighbourhood: 3lb of wings (or a big platter of nachos) and a pitcher of beer for $25. That's insane.
The wings are big, juicy, and very tasty. I've had the wings at the big chain pubs (Saint Louis, Duff's), and these are better. Here I'm just as happy with either part of the wing, whereas at other places I'm bogarting the drumlets. I've had the wings with medium and hot sauce. The hot sauce isn't very hot, but it has good flavour. I like that the wings aren't drowning in sauce; there is plenty and you can still eat them without creating too much of a mess.
I've had the nachos, and they are right up there, too, but compared to 3lb of great wings? No contest.
My friends like the burgers and the Greek salad here as well. Nothing fancy, just simple straightforward, and tasty. And still so reasonably priced.
It's a neighbourhood place, kind of dive bar-ish (in a good way), with lots of nice people. Becky is the best server in the area, always smiling and hospitable.
It's still a Wednesday night tradition.
