I've always been a fan of Butter Avenue ever since they opened their first location on Yonge and Lawrence area. I'm so glad there's one on Queen West now, so it's gives me another reason to make the trek during my lunch hour to pay Butter Avenue a visit. They have the perfect crispy almond meringue shells. Each one is dyed in a pretty pastel colour. They are absolutely delightful and you can taste the luxury in each bite as you get enveloped by the harmonious sweetness that is pleasantly left in your mouth. During the summer they have seasonal flavours such as Hojicja, Genmaicha, Blueberry Cheesecake, Raspberry Marshmallow Lime, Lemon Poppy Seed and Lavender. I love how they've incorporated many Japanese tea flavoured macarons, aside from the classic Matcha flavor. I can't just have one favourite flavour, as all of them are so tasty. If you want the best macarons in the city, I highly recommend visiting Butter Avenue.
