  • If you are looking for a company that delivers on what they promise, REEis does. Several areas of our home were not cooling as well as the rest of the home even after replacing the older heat pump with a new 4 ton unit. The south end remained nearly 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Did some research and decided to call REEis to have them check it out. Within a couple of days Eduardo came by and started the inspection inside and outside the home. The house is constructed with Integra block and known for outstanding insulation quality, dual pane windows with sunscreens where needed met every energy saving requirement. Then he spent the next 90 minutes crawling through the attic and documenting and photographing everything up there. When he returned, spent a few minutes loading everything into his laptop and proceeded to show us from air handler to the other end of what was up there. What a mess it was. All of the duct work was made of un-insulated hard pipe, terribly undersized, and individual duct work shared by several rooms. Our 4 ton unit was only able to distribute 700 cubic feet of air per minute for a unit designed to move 1,600 cfa per minute. First we paid the $99 for a complete home energy audit which will provide substantial rebates from SRP for the project. REEis replaced all of the duct work, re-insulated the attic, relocated and added several vents as well as an additional return. Every employee involved in the project was very respectful, always came when they said they would be, and cleaned up everyday. My home has never been more comfortable and we are seeing the energy savings already. Highly professional staff from front to back. Project was completed on time and on budget as promised. One more thing, during Eduardo's attic venture he took a photo of a clothes dryer vent that had been improperly installed and was kinked trapping lint. I later went up there for a look and couldn't believe what I saw. He told us not to worry, they'll fix that while they are up there and they did. Probably saved us from a potential fire. Much appreciated Eduardo!
