rev:text	The Juice Standard may have standards buy hygiene and employee cleanliness/conduct is not one of them. This review IS NOT based on their juices, smoothies or food. visited this place late afternoon on Friday 4/27. 2 employees currently there, one behind the counter, the other sitting at one of the tables obviously on break. gentleman behind the counter greeted us and I proceeded to put my order in. as he was preparing my smoothie, another customer came in and the guy at the table greeted her and went behind the counter (without washing his hands) and proceeded to assist her. this is where it gets bad. after taking care of her and ringing her up, he decides to start another task by putting their logo stickers on their cups. he STICKS HIS FINGERS INTO THE CUPS to grab each cup off of the stack to apply the sticker label to it. SERIOUSLY??!?!?!!! 1. you didn't even wash your hands when coming behind the counter (who knows what your hands could have come into contact with while you were on your break) 2. you didn't wash your hands after handling cash 3. you didn't even bother with gloves when touching the INSIDE of those drinking cups 4. the proper way to do this is to have the stack of cups upside down and handling ONLY THE OUSTSIDE of each cup. so not only were your own germs deposited into the INSIDE of those drinking cups, but also the germs that were on the cash. HIGHLY disturbing and HIGHLY unsanitary. my husband, who was watching this entire debacle, called him out and brought his lack of hygiene standards to his attention, to which he responded : oh it's fine, I washed my hands. WHAT?!!?!?! ummm no, you didn't. it's highly unsanitary and nasty his flippant attitude to health and sanitation leaves much to be desired and makes me wonder if management/owners share the same view and feel the same way. I'm sorry juice standard, I love your products but I don't think that's enough if you don't hold your employees accountable and if they don't get it together. any yes, I'm also in the food industry, which is why I am so seriously appalled with what we witnessed that day.
