| - Very tardy on posting this review. We actually ate at Fogo de Chao last year (2016) for Thanksgiving dinner. We chose this restaurant because our son doesn't like the traditional turkey dinner however my husband and I do. Fogo de Chao advertised that they would be offering, in addition to their normal menu, sliced turkey and all the trimmings. We thought perfect, everyone will get something they like. Our dinner reservations were at 5pm. We were seated promptly upon on arrival, however, when my husband and I went to the buffet station which was where the turkey was supposed to be located, there was nothing there. We asked our server about this and were told that they ran out of turkey and trimmings earlier in the day. As I said, it's not like we went for a late dinner, we were there at 5pm. Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed. The meat offerings at the restaurant were just OK, we've eaten at Texas de Brazil in Aruba and Florida, and the food was much better.
I sent the restaurant an email after our experience and got absolutely no response. This certainly was extremely poor planning on their part, felt a bit like a bait and switch. We will never eat at this restaurant again because of the lack of customer service, it seems like a response to my email was the least they could have done after ruining our Thanksgiving meal.
