My reviews are bouncing up and down like a ping pong ball, as expected, another recall and another disappointment dished out by Toyota. Last time the recall paper said an hour it took three, this time the paper said 3 hours when I arrived here it had already gone to 4 hours and by the time I was back at the dealership to pick my car up, I had to wait a few more hours. The service department manager was very forthcoming and proactively gave me his card to get in touch with him prior to the next service, but that still doesn't excuse the fact that the 3 hour job is going to take 6 hours and my entire day was squandered away sitting in a hot car dealership waiting for something that should have been finished several hours ago.
If you have to go to the dealership for a recall of a Toyota, be sure to allot at least twice the time quoted on the piece of paper you receive, and then on the day of service you add a few more hours, that is how long it will take.
Unacceptable.
