  • This place definitely has a strong hippie/free spirit vibe. There's lots of vegan restaurants and artsy shops. You're sure to find something interesting while you're there. Additionally, the locals and shop owners here are super laid back and friendly. They're some great people to spark up a conversation with. I ended up having a really spiritual conversation about the universe with an artist on the street. However, if you're not into the "make love not war" scene then this probably isn't the place for you. If you love good vibes, then check this place out. The only thing is the neighbourhood is a little sketchy, so you may want to bring a buddy.
