| - I have been a customer with Shutterfly for many years, there's a great history there and i've never had anything but great things to say. My last transaction was not so great. I don't usually review on social media, but chatting with customer service after being 10th in cue and then having the rep disconnect me, and then calling customer service and waiting 52minutes (no exaggeration), speaking with a person and pouring my heart out about my dismay and having her sound very concerned and willing to help and then place me on hold, and have the phone conveniently disconnected, has left me no choice.
The issue, order #000067862859-9000112....my initials RW: I paid for rush shipping on this item and it was GUARANTEED to arrive on Wed 9/23...on that day, the item (photobook), was still being processed, I called cust service and found that they were still assembling the book. No one bothered to contact me letting me know this. There is ALWAYS a reason someone is willing to pay a rush shipping fee, which is the most expensive of them all, so at least give them the courtesy of saying that something has gone wrong before they have to call you to find that out themselves. Longish story short, after promises of a refunded shipping fee, and one story saying that the book is almost finished (even though it was still listed as being processed a day later), I finally received the book today on the 28th, got charged the ENTIRE cost, and I'm also not very impressed with the book, but that could be due to my feelings of being ignored by Shutterfly about this situation. I'm sorry that I had to write this, but I didn't know of any other way to tell you of my concern without getting disconnected or hung up on.
