Are you driving in middle of nowhere Nevada? Are you anywhere near-ish to Beatty? Then you need to take this short little detour. It's no mind blowing experience. But it is totally cool. And it's literally just a few minutes from the highway. It's a real ghost town. Not some tourist attraction with souvenir shops. An actual old, abandoned town. There's a teeny tiny welcome shack / museum that may or may not be open. But pull in anyways. You're going to want to explore the statues / art around the shack and take some pictures. It's, uh, interesting. And pretty cool. And then you drive along and can see the ruins of a town. Definitely park somewhere and get out so you can read the signs and gain some info about the town. It's a rather cool story. The remains of some buildings are in quite good shape. There's even a ghost casino. Take the time to look around and notice some of the unique details that are still in great condition. It may not be worthy of a special road trip all on it's own. But it is more than worthy of a detour on any road trip anywhere near the vicinity.
