So I was referred to Arrowhead Dermatology through a friend and was seen by Dr. Andrew Hicks at the Peoria office. I have been suffering from cysts for some years and took it upon myself to refer myself to the dermatologist which was amazing in the beginning and Dr. Hicks was the first person in 10+ years to finally have answers for me after countless doctors and surgeries. I was finally diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and thought all was great when I finally got the prescription which I was told could take months to get due to it being newly FDA approved for my condition. So after finally waiting to get the prescription it has gone down hill from there. It has become extremely difficult to get ahold of anyone at the office for answers. I was even given a card with a direct number and his assistants names. I have called several times and had to leave a message every single time in which has taken them each time over a week to return my phone calls!! I am now at a point come to find out the prescription was written wrong and cant get ahold of a single person in the office to help me continue my medicine. I stopped in the office on Tuesday 1/10 and was told they were at lunch but would receive a phone call once they got back, it is now Friday evening 1/13 and haven't received a call at all. Its absolutely impossible to get anyone to help but don't worry when they want their money collected they have no problem getting a hold of you then!!! This is horrible business practice when you have patients that need these medications asap that are shipped from out of state. All I want is a return phone call and a correct prescription to finally feel better. They were great to began with but if you need any further help I wouldn't count on them!!!
