I go to this nice little spot every once in a while, but I'm met with excellent service and great food every time.
I have to say that I'm a huge fan of the interior design of the establishment. It's got a beautiful contemporary Japanese aesthetic, but it has a essence of a relaxed and laidback atmosphere just like any other izakaya.
They have an extensive menu catered to both Japanese and Western tastes. There are a lot of traditional Japanese dishes like chawan mushi and niku jaga, but there are plenty of other creative options such as koro koro steak, garlic potatoes, and spicy edamame. Not to mention they have a great selection for yakitori and sushi.
I personally love their ika geso age (fried marinated squid legs) and tori karaage (Japanese fried chicken). Both lightly battered and fried, accompanied by subtly sweet and savory flavors.
There's just so much to try here, so if you're feeling adventurous, this is the place to go.
