At Escape is located just west of Yonge street in a little tiny 'war home' that has been renovated for game rooms. There is parking is in the back and accessible through a narrow laneway/driveway between it and the house next store.
We came here in a Tuesday night for our team's Christmas get-together and a little "team-building" fun!
There were eight of us so our only option was to do the Library Lockout. In my opinion though, I think that room would be best with only four people, six max, but we managed okay.
We were the only group there so we had the hosts undivided attention. Good thing. :)
He explained the "story" behind the room and let us at it. There wasn't much in the way of furniture in the room which leaves fewer places to look for clues, I guess, but don't assume that will make it easier!
A couple of clues we found right away but others, honestly, I still wouldn't have gotten them... but mostly because of the lack of light in the room (my eyes aren't what they used to be!).
I think our host pitied us as he came in a few times to drop a hint or two... okay maybe more. ;)
We didn't solve the room before the clock ran out however, that being said, our room had only a 17% or 19% success rate so I don't feel so bad.
Because there wasn't anyone else there, our host was gracious enough to let us finish the puzzles and solve the room. We cheered for ourselves anyway!
t was a lot of funI would definitely do this again but maybe with fewer people.
