We had a lovely inexpensive lunch today at Baguette Café. I ordered a big cup of Illy coffee, a medium roast which was perfectly brewed, together with a delicious chipotle-flavored grilled chicken, bacon and Monterey Jack cheese sandwich, which was elegantly served with mesclun salad on the plate. My husband had a bottle of mango-orange juice with his ham and cheese croissant. He declared that the house-made croissant was the best he has eaten in Las Vegas: light, flaky, with a wonderful buttery flavor. Service was excellent; both counter staff and the young man who brought us our food were pleasant and welcoming. Finally, the authentic French owners of this charming little place were on the premises, which we really liked. I heartily recommend Baguette Café!
