| - Bikes stolen. Pet owners are filthy. Some student puking in public areas. It's too bad because the property is nice otherwise...
First a preface: The apartments are nice themselves. They are reasonably well designed and overall the property is pretty (except for the pet issues down below...). The gym, pool and lounge are actually really great.
Unfortunately, despite having security doors etc., security is an issue. We have had 2 bikes stolen (at different times) from the gated central garage. Thieves come in and steal in waves. So you can go through the garage after a wave and see multiple locks on the pavement by the racks on all levels of the garage. There are bike racks there and you are NOT permitted to keep bikes on your balconies (I understand for appearance, but considering the circumstances...). The garage should be safe, but the security gates are often broken. To be fair, the broken gates are mostly due to residents running into them. So, if you are comfortable with keeping filthy bikes in your living room, this won't matter to you. If however, you want them outside somewhere, keep this in mind when considering SkySong.
Pet owners are an issue. Some faithfully clean up after their pets. The apartments have doggie bag stations. There are nasty people who let their pets poop right by the stations and then leave the poop there. There are other disgusting people who let their male dogs urinate in the hallways (particularly by the elevator shafts).
The apartments might want to review their co-signing criteria. There are some very nice students living here and some...well...they puke in the elevator or hallways or next to your car in the garage. They like to break the lights in the elevators. These things don't happen every day, but are often enough to be annoying.
Again, it's too bad about these problems listed above because otherwise, the property is nice for professionals or small families. The people in the office are nice.
