  • Update I'm now being charged a whopping 2200 for her "care" of nine days which I'll be fighting because they not only basically lied to me and told me she only had to pay for one day at 100 but she has two bed sores on her back which is why I put care in quotes because she didn't get any at all and I loved how I overheard one of the nurses tell staff "make sure you're checking on her mom the daughter is a bit aggressive and can be a bitch" to which I responded "sorry you have to do your job"! I don't think anyone is bad and I understand places need to get paid but when I have financial surprises come up because you simply forgot to inform me of something and then hang up on me because you don't want to talk to me or deal with something and tell me that "I refuse to discuss financial matters with you because that's not my area of expertise" it really upsets me. My mom arrived to her new place covered in urine and feces she had it been changed in a day and a half. The only reason that a patient gets bedsores to the degree that she had is because they're not being turned in changed. When the doctor went to you in a evaluation on my mother while she was at this rehab she was in barest because she was naked they had not changed her and anytime I wanted anything done I had to flag down staff and now have a bill that I had no idea of. This place is run cheaply and needs to be investigated if you want your loved one to get care go ANYWHERE else. The only positive things that came out of this place are that I got my mom some great resources, placed her into a beautiful new home, and became more assertive with her care which sadly is the only way that they do seem to get done sometimes.
