  • I know I am going to get flack about this, but... I think Amelie's is over rated. The pastry is small and over priced. I think this is an example of growth diluting quality. When I first went, I was impressed. Good quality kitschy decor, embodiment of NODA. Now it's just average. I know that it is difficult to find a good bakery in Charlotte, but they have become " just another place." I'm just saying.
