As a follow up, I did receive a call from the General Manager, Robert, who was very apologetic for the situation. While he didn't provide much in the way of explanation as to why this occurred (other than saying that Sunday Brunch is their busiest service), he was very polite and offered to see that any future reservation would be overseen by him. I am still a bit miffed from the initial interaction, but will more than likely give them another try. I have been there many times for "I Got 5 on it", their 90's hip hop night and it is quite the blast. I look forward to speaking with Robert personally next time I attend.
Hopefully the results will be better this time.
