  • 0000000STARS!!! Horrible!!!! After being burglarized, I stupidly thought the best company to contact was ADT to set up a system. The rep was nice until he found out I had an internet deal. He insisted it did not apply to us until I brought it up on my computer, actually argued with me! So, he installed our system, then told us 'we couldn't use it if our dog was in the house because she is over 50 lbs. Bye!' I guess our coupon was his commission. Have not used the system since it was installed 2 years ago and yet they refuse to stop taking our money. They have ripped me off so badly and the only time I was able to reach someone while I was out of work and my husband's hours were cut down, living off of his SS, I was told that was our 'tough luck', finally they put a supervisor on the phone and she said she could off set us paying for 3 months, but that was it and she meant it. 3 months passed and it came directly out of our checking account with a $30.00 increase!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not been able to reach anyone but a recording on any phone number, including ADT's 800 numbers, because I am not buying, I want to cancel. Now, I can't even get a date on my 'end of contract.' Well, now I'm working and I have been advised to hire a lawyer, which I can NOW afford. FINALLY, good advice!!! Bonnie H.
