We stayed here for the 2016 NV State Gymnastics Championship. Unfortunately, it was the first weekend of March Madness, so this was the only thing we could find in Las Vegas for under $200/night. We paid $149/night plus tax.
The room is exactly as pictured. It's ok. Very very noisy because it's located just a few feet away from railroad tracks. Yes, you guessed right - trains kept me up through the night, despite the fact I'm a heavy sleeper. Very slow elevators, but I'm willing to overlook this because I prefer stairs.
Workout room is very small but met my needs for the weekend.
Front desk staff does a good job, however, don't expect friendliness or them to smile back at you. The Filipino gentleman that does Guest Services is excellent.
Free breakfast for me and three kids, always a plus! PLEASE TIP the breakfast attendant SHIRLEY well. She works her butt off. I was thinking I might want a waffle with syrup but before I could say it, she had one in the iron cooking and brought it to me promptly. What service. She knew want I wanted before even I did. She's one person who is always paying attention! Very refreshing! Definitely an asset to Best Western Plus North Las Vegas. Was very impressed by her.
Parking is free and convenient.
