| - Rebecca was my doula for my birth in Nov 2015. I met with her early on and immediately clicked. She's an amazing listener and has such a caring calm about her. I wasn't loving my OB at the time and she gave me the courage to go with a different one around 31 weeks. Fast forward - I was overdue considerably, and was being pressured heavily by hospital staff/OB for induction. I had a traumatic event in the days leading up to my induction that shaped my entire birth experience, and almost everything I didn't want to happen, did. Despite this, Rebecca was there at 3am, helping me, helping my hubby. Her photos are fantastic, we've printed them out and are having a few framed for hanging. Placenta encapsulation process means she has post partum checkups with you (which she does regardless, with or without encapsulation), and mine was perfectly timed, as I'd just had my first meltdown as she rang my doorbell. I cried on her shoulder, she got me water for my first dose, and 30 min later I was laughing, joking, and enjoying my newborn again. Best part of it all - we've become great friends, and I deeply cherish that aspect of this doula process - a wonderfully unexpected bonus! I couldn't speak more highly of Rebecca, she's amazing!
