  • I've been going to the same hairdresser for nearly 2 decades, always getting the same haircut, when I thought it's time for something new. Having seen the Nite Owl getting some media exposure, lately, it was interesting to explore it in person. The guys are indeed quite colourful, the place is very quaint, and the service is simply excellent. I had Simon cut my hair, and while he seems to be the least talkative of the bunch, he really knows what he is doing. They cut your hair old school, with your back turned to the mirror. I was freaking out a bit, when it was over and he turned me to face the mirror, but the result was simply excellent - I actually got a few compliments from people, later on in the day. I also got a hot towel shave - this was great - kind of like a male equivalent of a facial - this will now be my monthly ritual, and screw Gillette - I'm moving to safety razors :) Will repeat, many times.
