| - I decided to give this place a try since it's on my side of town...big mistake! The good: When I walked in, I was asked to complete a form (basic info: name, e-mail, beverage choice). I thought it was pretty cool that they had a cold soda waiting for me when I walked back to get my pedicure. I received my mani while getting my pedi. I prefer that over having to move to another station after the pedi is done. The bad: Once the young man started working on my feet a girl (long hair dark hair, looks like it was blonde at one point) came up to him and started putting his hair in a ponytail, laughing and giggling. Hey I'm all for having a good time at work, but she clearly was distracting him. This same young lady pulls up a chair and starts my mani. No introduction, no "hi", nothing...this was just kinda awkward to me. The pedicure is moving right along but the person doing my mani randomly starts talking about Harriet Tubman being on the $20 bill and how the United States is still racist and change on the $20 bill is just a distraction. Um ma'am, I'm here to relax not discuss current events. I want to sip on my coke, enjoy this foot rub and leave with pretty toes and hands. I was beyond ready to go at this point. When it came time to pay, I was charged $13 more than I anticipated. The person broke down the price to me (still a lil suspect) but of course I paid without incident. I don't like writing bad reviews and I wasn't going to write 1 but here it is 3 days after my service, I'm on vacation and I notice the polish on my toes has bubbled up. I thought maybe there was sand stuck to my toes but upon further inspection those are definitely bubbles. This was definitely not a $73 experience!
