  • Horrible experience with the Spinal Cord Rehab. Some good people, but the bad outnumber the good, by far. Left a catheter in for more than a half an hour. Over medicated with pain medication. Horrible wheel chair dispensed without any regard for size or ability. Even with excellent insurance they treat you like you're in grade school. Wait until you are leaving and they hand you the "certificate" signed by all the staff. "Your a Rock Star!" (their spelling, not mine) Right out of nursery school. And when they throw you out? they show you the door, and literally kick you to the curb. Absolutely no help to me, the caregiver. I swear I heard them yell "NEXT" when I was pushing my brain tumor paralyzed husband in his newly dispensed, 199.00 wheel chair out in the sun waiting for me to try and transfer him into the car (that our insurance paid MUCH, MUCH more for). BTW, when they brought the chair, they kicked it into the room and yelled, "there's your chair". Go anywhere else. They are in the business of getting you in, getting as much as they can from your insurance and getting you out. Assembly line medicine. You are not a person, you are a number. I observed other patients and they were all treated poorly. I felt especially bad for patients without the presence of family. (If you are a veteran, you can go to the VA for spinal cord rehab, no co pay, and the treatment and care is 5 star.)
