I have visited Eat a few months before and all I remember was how amazing the pancakes were-simple buttermilk plain pancakes.......It wasn't a fluke, their pancakes are the perfect amount of crispiness and fluff. By far makes the drive downtown worth it. Other highlights are the deep fried deviled eggs, tomato soup, and the local Mothership brewed coffee (could have skipped the grilled cheese.....unless your looking for 2 xxl pieces of Texas toast for lunch).
My only gripes about Eat is they have a selected breakfast menu that is only available until 11am (I am dying to try these chilaquiles) and I really wish they offered espresso based coffee drinks. But for those pancakes I will gladly spend 10 minutes rifling through 6th street looking for a parking spot.
Also, they have an awesome outdoor patio with picnic tables set up. Perfect for a private event
