  • Wow. Mind blown. So just a little background. I came visiting from the northeast where bagels are not that fresh, typically hard to chew on, and just bland (at least from what I have tried). I was looking through top places to visit in Montreal and every single article kept saying "FAIRMONT BAGEL!!". So yeah, i made a stop here to see what is so special about some bagels. We first tried the all seasoned bagel and that was meh. And then we tried to order the one with salmon but that was out of stock. I tried a sample of the blueberry bagel and that was pretty tasty. My friends and I finally got to the sesame bagel and WOW. It all just clicked. It was so soft, warm, mildly flavorful all in one bite!! I never had a bagel so soft in my life. The sesame gave a very light flavor that made it taste aaaamaaazzzinggg with the cream cheese. I wish I got myself 3 more :/ The line outside looked intimidating at first, but it moved quite fast. I definitely would go out of the way for the sesame bagel. It's so affordable too!! TIP!!! CASH ONLY!! they accept US currency too, but they will not participate in the currency exchange.
