  • I brought my wedding dress here based on the reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have the same luck. The dress was too large on me, especially in the chest area and it needed to be bustled. I tried the dress on for Valentina and went over everything that needed to be done, she provided me a reasonable quote and I was to come back in two weeks for another fitting. When I came back, the dress was still too large on me, she suggested adding cups and taking more in off the sides. She also determined that the bustle was going to be more work that originally quoted and it would cost extra. ugh. The next fitting, the top part was still too big and she accused me of losing weight. Yes, I lost a little weight but certainly not 2 inches around my bust, I can assure you of that. When I came in for what was supposed to be my final fitting, the dress was all wrong, it puckered in places, I now had creases in my dress from it fitting improperly and the beading was no longer straight. When I came back for my second final fitting, the zipper broke. I was actually relieved it broke there and not while walking up the isle. How it broke is beyond me though. I feel she should have checked the zipper. So on my third final fitting, she helped me in and out of the dress and zipped it. I never took the time to look at the back of the dress closely, I didn't know I needed to. She offered me a small discount for the amount of times I've had to come in and I left with a dress that was not altered correctly, but at this point, there wasn't a lot I could do. I took the dress to my mom's house so she could take it to my bridal suite for me. The next morning I sent some photos to a bridesmaid when I realized the buttons were missing from the back. There was originally a panel that hid the zipper and gave the illusion that it was button up. it was truly beautiful. So I called my mom crying and asked her to run it back over. Who also noticed the cup area was caved in and there was beading hanging from the dress. For some reason I'll never understand, Valentina removed that whole panel. Which meant on one side I had beading up to the zipper and the other side, there was over an inch of no beading. She was able to do a makeshift panel that didn't fully cover the zipper, it was still visible, and sewed the buttons to the side. And, I was left with a chunk of dress with no beading so it looked like the dress had to be let out. The back of the dress was destroyed. I am still furious. On my wedding day, I had to wear my veil for the whole evening just to hide the back of my dress. I will NEVER bring anything here, I will continue to tell everyone I know how she ruined my wedding dress and how I am out a lot of time and money. I can't clean and sell the dress because, who would buy a defective dress? I can't preserve it for my (future) daughter, because she deserves better! I would feel bad if someone bought it from goodwill.
