| - It is my very first time being a Yelp Elite and it was a fun surprise to learn that being a Yelp Elite allows you to go to certain Yelp events! I was browsing through them and saw this Dior Makeup class. It's hard as a mama to get away at times so I only asked to be part of the Makeup Masterclass from the Dior Hot for the Holidays series. I was so happy that I was able to be a part of it.
I used to be in management at Sephora and was certified in makeup application. I just thought it would be so fun to maybe learn more tricks and tips....and I definitely did! I learned some new techniques and tips on getting ready for the day or evening in a flash by using products that could be used for other things. I love being versatile with makeup! I do enjoy Dior products but I have never been to the actual beauty boutique, which is just exquisite and luxurious as the brand.
I'm pretty new here and it was also my first time going to the Caesars Palace Forum Shopping Center and it was confusing at first. I used the valet and I wasn't sure if I was in the right place. However I found out from calling lol, where it would be. Just in case you are new too, it's a bit overwhelming and when you go in there are tons of shops not listed on the wall next to the elevator (please no judgement lol) Women from a gift shop that I asked didn't even know there was a Dior there because it's so huge. Dior Beauty is located right across from Louis Vuitton.
Right now they have some amazing deals through their value sets. I was so tempted to get the brush set but I had to budget for what I actually need/want which is amazing skin care. I'm always on the hunt for good skin care and to try new things. Their skin care set is a must.
It is so clear that the associates that work at Dior Beauty love what they do. They even had Kevianni Guerrero, a National celebrity makeup artist from Hollywood to teach the Master classes. He was fantastic and loved how he explained everything in so much detail. He was so down to earth, and answered my questions before I could even ask them :) such a beautiful person.
After the class we got to play with the makeup, get mini-makeovers, learn more about different products. Cherry was the associate that helped my cousin's wife and I. Sometimes I get nervous when I have other people do my makeup...if their technique and style don't necessarily fit me or if something looks off I don't want to have to fib lol. However, I LOVED what Cherry did and I didn't want to take my makeup off when I got home. Sometimes I like to be glam or dramatic but most times I don't wear makeup or prefer healthy, glowy, natural makeup. She achieved a little of both for me. I wanted to buy everything but I ended up buying the skin care set and the new 3D lash mascara primer. When I got home my husband asked if I had lash extensions on! He hates them because they are fake but when I told him they were real he approved my purchase for my new holy grail mascara primer. I'm telling you, my lashes are short, straight and sparse due to getting extensions before. Now they can be full, long, and curly! Yes! Without having to use a lash curler! Yay for no fear of pinching eyelids when you're in a rush haha you can even use it at night as a serum to help them grow! Ok sorry for the little Beauty review but I am amazed and in love! I posted a pic!
All of the associates there are so sweet and knowledgeable. They even have estheticians and you can get a facial too! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be back. Cherry did such an amazing job with me and went above and beyond!
