| - This event was a total ripoff. First off, they advertised more than 50 breweries, unlimited pizza, and art vendors! There were nowhere near 50 breweries, and those that were there were very poorly identified, making it hard or near impossible to know what beer you were in line for. The pizza at some stands ran out literally 30 minutes after the event started. The space layout was awful, with little room available to move without running into the lines.
In synthesis, they did some pretty bad false advertising, and when I requested a refund because of this, I was denied as they said it was against their refund policy. My question is, if I go to a restaurant and pay for a steak, and instead am given a pancake, am I not entitled to my money back? It's not what I paid for. I was better off buying 40 dollars worth of beer and pizza on my own than attending this event. Especially seeing as I could have attended for free, (which I'm sure several people did) because nobody even asked me to show my ticket. Avoid any future events organized by these people, Daredevil Events.
