  • Courage Foods is a wonderful neighborhood shop. The owners really have a love of food and the community they serve. For such a little shop they offer so much...fresh and frozen take out, made in house that includes soups, curries, mac and cheese, and pastas. They are a YUMMY bake shop. Do not pass up a chance to pick up a ginger cookie, located at the counter. I will walk over with my daughter just to get one. They have fresh produce for sale that includes in-season fruits and vegetables and some processed preserves and cheeses that appear to be thoughtfully chosen. Last Thanksgiving I was able to preorder a sweet potato pie that was absolutely delicious. It was made fresh for us that day. This is what I love about this place. The kitchen is always busy and the smells are fantastic.
