  • Dr. Lirtzman and his staff are THE BEST for any surgical needs for your pet. If you want only the best expertise and care, this is it! This was the best experience and outcome I could hope for, Dr. Lirtzman and every member of his staff were amazing!! My dog had a fatty lipoma and 2 cysts removed. The surgery went great and I was able to watch the surgery, which was nice to see the progress. Just FYI, with watching the surgery you don't see exactly what is happening, just that things are moving along. I think that says a lot about Dr. Lirtzman that he allows you to watch the surgery. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shares all the information with you and allows you to make the best decision for your pet. He doesn't push you into doing anything. Once again this further demonstrates his professionalism and the trust you can place in someone that educates you and doesn't push you. I appreciated the care they had for my dog as well. Surgery is a big deal and the emphasis on making sure your pet is comfortable and not in pain is incredible, not to mention the best surgical techniques, for the best outcome. The care is incredible, they have a vet tech that is with them overnight during recovery and you can call to see how they are doing...so for us dog parents that might wake up in the middle of the night and wonder if they are ok, you can call and check. I was given a full report of how he was doing. They were all incredibly patient with my list of questions and I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Lirtzman and his staff, with no reservations. I hope my dog never has to have another surgery, but if he did this is the only place I would take him.
