I usually purchase and service all my Mercedes at Schumacher . This time I took my closest and dearest friend to this dealership. He was in the market for a E63 and I was along for the ride. Salesman Bruce Waller approached us and was very laid back and super informative. My Buddy tried to stump him but Bruce had all the right answers and was not pushy at all. Bruce asked about my wife's GLK that I drove in, I told him to give me a good deal on a GLC and I'll write the check and trade my wife's car. He asked what I thought was a good deal , so I gave him an aggressive offer thinking he would start with the wholesale for there's and resale for mine etc, etc.
To my surprise he told me to have my wife bring down the title while he does the paperwork. Needless to say my Buddy bought his car and we did a 2fer. This was the easiest and best deal we ever made and will be back for my new Benz on my 60th.
Follow up, after my Buddy took his Benz back to Laguna Beach he scraped the bottom and separated spoiler pulling into a spot 5 days after purchase. I gave Bruce a call for an estimate and he told us where to bring it. We left the car and got a loaner and a high estimate. The next morning Bruce to show his appreciation he had customers service Jamie contact the Laguna dealership and forward the bill to Scottsdale. Looks like i will be driving an extra 30 miles to service and purchase my next Benz with Bruce.
I would also like to give a shout out to Gus, the young man who had the patience and taught two old people about today's technology
