rev:text	Le Petit Trianon is a cute little new cafe, that could have lots of potential in the future. For now, the cafe needs quite a few improvements. Yet, don't let that turn you off from trying their completely homemade pastries and desserts, which are outstanding! Upon walking into the cafe(Saturday afternoon), it felt empty, quiet, and cold. The tables are not distributed in a proper way. Three little tables, and one table with six chairs. A bit strange, and uncomfortable chairs. Having heard and read about many of their desserts, I went in hoping to try them. Half of them were missing. Their fridge looked a bit on the empty side. When you hear about a crocake(A croissant cake made as a cupcake) You want to try it, right? Well, they didn't have that either. It's only available on special order. Another disappointment. I'm a big fan of the Kouign amann, again they didn't have it. All these things were not available on a weekend afternoon. So my only question is.. When do you have them? Having said all this we were curious and hungry, so we stayed. Our mouths and stomachs were quite happy with their outstanding pastries. Yet their bacon croissant was an absolute disappointment. The croissant had a big chunk of ham(The type you eat on Thanksgiving or Christmas) with it's tough skin on. Not at all pleasing to the mouth. Also, that is not bacon! The place is not at all appealing to the eye. Visible cardboard boxes, dirty floors, I know it's Winter time and floors do become messy with salt and snow. Mop it! Their washroom was completely unacceptable! Dusty, and pieces of wet brown paper towel in their sink. Again, unacceptable! Le Petit Trianon could have potential success in the near future if it's more presentable, cleaner and with a warmer ambiance. Which all these things are key, and a must to a good cafe. It's been opened for only ten months by a very young couple. I would certainly come back, mainly because their delicious pastries saves them and makes me want to come back sometime in the future. I do hope they improve within time. They are a hard working, kind, polite couple who strive to do their best.
