Came here for multiple #TIFF16 screenings in September. Fairly nice theatre. Huge screen, wonderful sound system, and a very dark theatre (basically pitch black).
Other than Roy Thomson Hall, it's probably one of the bigger theatre venues - it has a seating capacity of 1237 people. If you're here for a TIFF screening, I'd recommend coming here early, as they sell tickets to rush line members fairly early, and you'll be straining your neck getting an oblique view the entire time if you're at the sides. Although, some people don't mind and like to leave huge gaps in seating in between.
Was able to spot a director coming out of another exit onto Gerrard St. after their Screening Q & A!
Overall, good theatre. It is also quite wheelchair friendly and spacious, leaving an entire row in the upper/middle section from the screen for those who are need them. Will be back for future screenings!
