My son has been coming here for a year or so. The salon itself is perfect for kids - train table and legos in the waiting area, and movies to watch in the cute car hairdresser chairs. Needless to say, my son loves it there. Now to the bad stuff... the haircuts are always uneven and look like I took the scissors to him myself. My son is excellent at sitting still too (zombies out on the tv), so this is purely a skill level issue. Last time we went there, the hairdresser was more thorough than usual, but cut him behind his ear with blood dripping out. She didn't say anything to me about it and pretended to not see it. When I pointed it out, she asked me if that was there before we came... seriously???? It's red and bleeding from where you stabbed him!!! I had to instruct her to disinfect the wound, she wasn't going to do that on her own!!!! She finally went to get an alcohol wipe and wiped the cut. I was really upset about this as I don't have confidence in how often they disinfect their tools. Also, if you try and call to see how busy they are and to get the current wait times, you will be rudely told that you have to get there to get the wait times. They should try something like "currently it's 20 minutes, but that could change between now and when you get here".
