  • I'd say this is the nicest comedy venue in town. Moderate lighting, nice booths and decent service. I've only ever paid full price for a show once (thank goodness because weekend evenings are a bit pricey) as my spouse's company often books the room. Therefore, I've had the buffet a few times and the food is average. I always look forward to the desert, as they serve a wide variety of fresh and yummy mini cupcakes. Yuk Yuks has always brought in top-notch comedians (I find there's at least 1-2 per night) and since the venue change, they've kept it up. I do recall going one night within the past year that the comedy was below average, but that's just one instance in probably two dozen past experiences. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of the stinky casino, which you don't really have to deal with, but occasionally you have to walk past some stinky and sketchy patrons. Also, the restrooms outside of the comedy club have their own odor from time to time which you can smell from the hallway. Thankfully I've never had an issue finding parking in the lot across the street, but on really busy evenings it certainly could be an issue, especially if there's a big event at the Saddledome.
