With all due respect I did ask for a manager..... they never showed
In my experience in the hospitality field, good management knows when service is in the weeds and they are out, on the floor, mitigating the effect. They are managing the impact, greeting guests..... keeping them happy. A simple gesture of a drink or some chips to pass the time make it all better.
An hour to get a sandwich and a waitstaff that simply responds with, "it almost ready I think" is not how to succeed.
