rev:text	Recently had our daughter's tongue and lip tie done at Agave Pediatrics. I'm an over preparer - I knew a tongue tie could be a possibility to look for when our daughter was born. Shortly after she arrived and we had our very first check up with her pediatrician (not located at Agave), my husband and I asked about it. Doctor checked her and said to not worry, it would not be a problem. Cut to four weeks later, my daughter is wanting to eat every hour, had horrible reflux and was never satiated. At this point, I'm exhausted and feeling totally defeated. Unable to leave the house, unable to console my baby. The baby and I were both so miserable. I thought it was me, that I was the problem. Maybe I wasn't producing enough for her. I went to a lactation consultation at Modern Milk with Stephanie Nguyen (also recommend her and Modern Milk - awesome resource). She immediately saw that our daughter had both a tongue tie and lip tie. Stephanie recommended Dr. Agarwal at Agave Pediatrics. We made the appointments and after her tongue tie (done first) - my husband and I had a different baby. A happy baby! Dr. Agarwal and his team are amazing. Dr. Agarwal was so kind and made both procedures so easy. Our baby was six weeks old at the time of her tongue tie revision and in less than two days after the procedure she felt better, appeared to be pain free. Her latch was deeper, she ate quicker, felt satisfied and was smiling finally! I can't imagine what life would be like if I hadn't talked to Stephanie and got a second opinion. I'm writing this to anyone who is frustrated or feeling defeated. Get a second opinion. I can't stress enough how much of a difference these procedures have made. My husband and I have a happy, content baby and we are so thankful.
