| - For healthy, organic, gluten-free, soy-free, or accessible choices for people with various dietary needs, this place is extraordinary! Once you figure out how to get there and park the car, the prices are reasonable, the options are plentiful, and all the food we had was tasty!
My favorite (so far) is the sweet potato and avocado salad. It's simple (and the recipe is even in their cookbook) but when you want to eat something fast, that is satisfying, delicious, and oozes health while not skimping on flavor, this is a great start.
We also had the vegetable pasta, the wild salmon dinner with roasted root vegetables, the strawberry mango salad with chicken, and a couple of desserts.
The only thing that didn't quite deserve 5-stars in my book was the gluten-free red velvet cupcake. It was fine, but very, very small for the price, and the cake itself, while moist, was grainy. The chocolate torte was unexpected, because it is basically a cocoa infused nut-butter mousse kind of thing, but it was tasty, not too sweet, and a good way to satisfy that after-dinner craving without going into a sugar-coma.
It's a very small restaurant with only a few staff, even on a Friday night, so probably not the best place for large groups. But, in my opinion, for food that is fresh, fresh, fresh, and cooked to order, a mass assembly-line style of production and cooking is probably not what you are after anyway? It's fantastic to have a place you can go if you want to eat healthy, or if you have someone in your party with dietary restrictions, because everybody, even the omnivores, can be satisfied.
