Walked into this Journeys locations today when the employee greeted me and asked if there was anything I was looking for, I said "no but if I see something I'll let you know". She then pointed me to the Red Adidas NMD's, a pair that I really wanted. They had a size 10 left and I decided to get it. When I was ready to pay until the employee realized he had mixed up the same shoe, different size to a previous customer. They sold a size 8.5 of the left shoe and a size 10 of the right shoe to the previous customer.
Then he gave me the option to "pre-pay" for the shoes for the shoes and ship them to me when the previous customer returned/exchanged the misconfigured shoes. Definitely not paying my hard earned money to make an under the table transaction for a shoe that isn't eligible for ordering in store.
No disrespect to the employees working there at the moment, I understand we all make mistakes but you should always double check the sizes of the shoes before you sell to a customer. It was also wrong of that employee to give me the option to leave my name, phone number and address so I can "pre-pay" for shoes. Anybody could've just kept the shoes for themselves and screwed me out of my hard earned money.
Terrible experience.
