  • I stopped in one Saturday afternoon around 2pm because I was due for a haircut. I have one of the easiest haircuts to do because I just pick a height between #1 and #3 and do it all over. Because of the simplicity of my haircut I prefer a cheap place. I used to use the $5 haircut place La Estetica on Rainbow. I was directed toward the back to Bob, who is an old guy who's been cutting hair for over 40 years. He's a nice guy, and we enjoyed good conversation while he cut my hair. No issues with the haircut other than its $16 plus tip, which for me is a bit out of my range for just a haircut. This is probably not the place to go if you want a fade or other fancy haircut. In fact a phone call came through regarding someone wanting a special fade and none of the guys wanted to do it, so if you want one, try another place. If you want a good no frills haircut with decent conversation then this place is fine.
