The pool area is nice enough, the DJ is very good but the part that's disappointing is the complete lack of 'free' lounge chairs. The real estate is at a serious minimum & its overwhelmed with high end cabanas with a steep minimum.
Its silly to me there are zero lounges reserved for paying hotel guests. We are staying at the hotel, and have paid for our rooms only to come outside and be told it's a $250 minimum or you have to lay on the concrete. That's just despicable & really unfair to your loyal, repeat, paying guests.
We have stayed/dined multiple times at the Beverly Hill SLS and the overall experience and customer service was far superior. Honestly, not sure we'll be back especially after having a fairly negative experience at the Vegas SLS on my birthday weekend (of all times).
